  2. In the menu, select “Run as administrator.”
  3. Now the PowerShell open, paste the given command and then tap Enter to start them:
  4. Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml”}
  5. The above process will Re-register all your applications. You have to wait for a couple of minutes to complete the process and run your Calculator.
2) Creating a New Account

  1. In the search field, enter add user and then select Edit, Add or remove another user in the appearing list.

3) Performing SFC Scan

Here are the steps on how to performing SFC scan:
  1. Tap Window + X key to launch the Win + X list
  2. Select Command Prompt in the list appears.
  3. If you can find the Command Prompt, then you have to use PowerShell.
  4. Type sfc /scannow and Tap Enter in the Command Prompt.
  5. Now SFC scanning will start; it may take approx 15 minutes while scanning you can’t interrupt it.
When the scanning finisher, you need to check the problem resolver. If the above process can’t fix these issues, then you have to use DISM.
Here are the steps on how to use DISM:
  1. Launch Command Prompt in administrator.
  2. Here you need to paste DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and start it.
  3. You need to wait for a few moments while the Windows scan is in process.
  4. This process might take 10 to 20 minutes, so don’t interrupt it.
  5. When the DISM scan is completed, the problem should be fixed.
4) Installing Missing Updates

  1. Tap Window + I key to launch the settings application.
  2. In the settings application, move to “Updates and security” option.
  3. Tap on “Check for updates” option; after this process, Windows will automatically check any updates available for the Windows.

  5. Installing the current version of the window can resolve the issue of the calculator application that doesn’t work.
 5) Reinstalling Calculator Application

  1. Download CCleaner.
  2. Use this application to remove the application.
  3. Go to the Windows Store and again download it.

8) Enable Account Control
Here are the steps to enable account control:
  1. Tap Windows + S key and type user account control.
  2. Choose Change User Account Control settings.
  3. Navigate the slide to the default position and then tap on OK to save your changes.
9) Reset Calculator Application

Here are the steps on how to reset the calculator application:
  1. Launch the Calculator application.
  2. Visit the Application section.
  3. Here the entire application list appears, choose calendar application and tap on Advance Option.
  4. Tap on Reset option. Now tap on Reset in the Confirmation option.
10) End RuntimeBroker.exe process

Sometimes the backup process can reason behind the calculator application not working this issue if fixed by the ending runtimeBroker.exe process.
Here are the steps at the end RuntimeBroker.exe process:
  1. Tap Ctrl + Shift + Esc to launch Task Manager.
  2. Task Manager launched, Find Runtime Broker.
  3. Then right-tap on it and select End task on the menu.
  4. After this above process, the Calculator application issue will be resolved.
